Disruption introduces a turning point in the Matrix Series.
The title suggests more than an eruption of force. A disruption changes the course of things. It interrupts what is familiar and creates the conditions for something different to emerge.
Within the developing narrative of the series, I see this work as the catalyst for a journey — the moment when the known world is unsettled and a new direction becomes possible.
It reflects an idea found in the hero’s journey: that exploration often begins not with a destination, but with something that compels us to leave familiar ground.
